Sara Wagner

PRIME Mental Health Motivation Coach

Sara Wagner, MSW, LGSW, serves as a Health Coach for the ROAM Study. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Montana State University - Billings and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Dakota. Through her grad school independent study project - and in conjunction with her employer, MHR, - she completed a research study which ultimately resulted in the incorporation of sexual health and relationship safety assessment (and associated staff training) in the work staff do with the people they serve. Sara has worked with MHR since 2013, as a drop-in center counselor at the Seward CSP. The CSP serves adults with serious and persistent mental illness in Hennepin County and has over 350 members. Sara enjoys working in the mental health field, and she is continually amazed by the strength, resilience, talent, and heart that people she serves possess. She is grateful and excited to be able to participate in the ROAM Study as a way to not only support participants in the study, but to be a part of something larger that has the potential to improve the life of people experiencing psychosis.
