Ariel has a BA in Cognitive & Neuroscience Studies and Psychology from Macalester College, a Masters in Biological Sciences from the University of Minnesota, and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional through SOCRA. She has worked in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences since 2014 supporting clinical research examining psychosis spectrum disorders. Her research interests include treatment and recovery for individuals in early psychosis, and the relationship between mental health, immunology, the microbiome, and nutrition.
